Tasting note

This has a very pronounced nose of pine resin, peanut shell and wasabi. So distinctive that you cannot be neutral about whether you like it. But it is what is, and says it is, and there is a fine sense of purity (if not fruit purity), freshness and balance in the wine. Fairly war, and bitter, with excellent length. Tasted April 2015. Pale golden-yellow colour with a delicate aroma of pine on the nose. Fresh and rich on the palate. Nicely balanced with a delicate flavour of pine resin developing into a long-lasting finish.
