Tasting note
Powerful, refined and luscious, with a surplus of dark plum, kirsch and cassis flavors that are unctuous and long. Shows plenty of grip, presenting a long, full finish, filled with Asian spice and raspberry tart accents. Rich and chocolaty. One for the ages. Best from 2030 through 2060. Collectibles. Score - 99. Purplish red in colour, this red boasts a medium nose exuding woody, empyreumatic, floral and fruity aromas. Discover this full-bodied wine expressing refreshing acidity and offering a full-bodied texture and fleshy tannins. It also unveils a intense mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
This vintage emits luscious aromas of dark plum, cassis and redcurrant. The palate commences with fresh green figs, then dark rich fruits, and finishes with bitter chocolate. While it shows beautifully today, this classic style definitely has a long life ahead of it.
