Tasting note
Sourced from the same vineyards that produce Graham's famed Vintage Ports in 'declared' years, the Six Grapes delivers a similar experience to the Graham's Vintage Port Style but at a fraction of the price. The nose offers cherry, dried fruit and sweet tobacco. The palate is sweet with rich fruit, medium full bodied with a long sweet, fruity finish. A perfect companion for a casual evening when paired with a nut bowl, or blue cheese. (VINTAGES panel, April 2011)
Dark red colour, with a seductive rich perfume of ripe plums and cherries. On the palate, complex, with a good structure and a long lingering finish.
Featured in TASTE Magazine, Winter 2012 issue. This port has rich aromas of ripe plums, cherries and dark chocolate. It is full-bodied with rich, dark fruits on the palate complemented by dark chocolate notes. Six Grapes is bottled relatively young in order to retain the freshness and vigour of a young vintage port.
