Tasting note
Medium amber, full head; aromas of toasted malt and fruity hops; full toasty flavour, crisp hoppy flavour
Blended and roasted pale and caramel malts to bring out their hazelnut and chestnut flavours. Balanced it with a generous measure of spicy, aromatic hops, giving the brew a bright personality. In a glass it's the colour of toast, topped with a crown of cream. Unlike its namesake, Warthog is a handsome ale. A cheese made with sheep’s milk, Etorki’s smooth and velvety off-white paste is attractively aromatic, with “Swiss-style” nuttiness and notes of straw. Full flavoured, but never sharp, in unison with Warthog's clean, and refreshing character, Etorki offers its soft yielding nature as a contrast to this structured brew.
