Tasting note
Bright yellow colour with thick white head; aromas of pronounced floral hops, malt, cereal and citrus peel with notes of bread, grass and spice; dry, medium bodied and fresh, with good carbonation, flavours of citrus, bitter hops and malt with notes of grain/cereal, herbal hops and honey.
Founded in the 1840's, Jever typifies the very dry style of pilsener from Friesland in the north-west corner of Germany and this remarkable beer is lagered for an impressive 90 days. The Jever Brewery has used only pure Friesian spring water and fresh Hallertau hops in a beer that has become prized around the world for its distinctive palate and crisp, dry finish.
