Tasting note

Copper amber colour; sweet aromas with notes of spice, herb, stewed plum fruit and honey; off dry, medium bodied and smooth, with flavours of caramelized fruit, hops and herb; quite mild with little or no bitterness on the finish.

This smooth, well-balanced ale is dark amber in colour with rich, red overtones. Brewed to the exacting standards first laid out by Alexander Keith 185 years ago, it is rich in every sense of the word - rich in colour, rich in heritage, and rich in taste
