Tasting note
A unique marriage between the English tradition of IPAs, the new American revolution of Imperial IPAs and the classic Belgian way of brewing. Houblon Chouffe, although very much hopped as it is, showcases the unique balance between a very strong IPA and a very special Belgian Tripel exclusively created for this ale.
La Chouffe is an unfiltered blonde beer, which is re-fermented in the bottle as well as in the keg. It is pleasantly fruity, spiced with coriander and with a light hop taste. The taste has a pleasant fruitiness, with lively coriander and spice, and subtle hops. Extremely refreshing and drinkable. Will pair extremely well with lightly spiced food (Indian or Thai) and its citric element will pair nicely with salads and seafood.
