Tasting note

Hazy mahogany with a thick cream head; on the nose are aromas of raisin, fig, treacle, clove and dark chocolate; on the palate it is full bodied and off-dry, with complex, layered flavours that echo the aromatics.

The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

Black cherry red, fizzes up a head but it doesn’ t last. Cider. Perfume. Mulled spice. Cherries and black cherries. Polish. Red wine. Cloves. Syrup sweet, like cherry syrup. Cinnamon. Black cherries.
