Tasting note

In 1984, Samuel Adams changed beer drinking in America with their first batch of Boston Lager. Winter Lager is deep copper, with a thin foamy head. Roasted grain and caramel aromas, with a citrusy hops note and a spicy background. Medium bodied, with light bitterness and flavours of orange zest, pear, chocolate and spice.

Dark copper/amber in colour. Malty with hints of spicy hops on the nose. A full mouth-feel with a lingering malt sweetness on the finish.
