Clear deep golden yellow colour with medium dense head; aromas of floral hops, grain/malt with grassy and lemon notes; dry, light to medium bodied, with flavours of floral/grassy hops and malt, with citrus and herbal notes; lightly bitter on the finish.

Brewed with pure spring water and whole-flower hops from Hallertau & Saaz, this beer follows the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. Stiegl is not pasteurized, giving it full flavour. As a Bavarian-style lager, the taste is more mellow and rounder than northern European lagers.
