Bright amber colour; aromas of apple and pear; off-dry palate with crisp apple flavours.

Colour: Pale golden. Nose: Aromas of freshly crushed apples. Lightly carbonated Palate: Pleasantly dry, yet full-flavoured with hints of fresh cider-making apples. Finish: Refreshingly dry and crisp, lingering flavours of apple and fruit.

As tastes have changed Blackthorn® has become a little less dry in taste. However we still press English bittersweet cider apples to deliver its distinctive crispness. Bittersweet cider apples have low acid levels and high tannins - the perfect combination for the crisp dry taste of Blackthorn.
