Golden amber in colour; pungent aromas of smoke, peat, and iodine; the palate is smoky with adjunct iodine character and subtle mineral undertones.

Nose: Heavy, thickly oaked and complex: some curious barley-sugar. Big, but seductively gentle Taste: The delivery, though controlled at first, is massive! The smoke on the nose turns into warming, full blown peat sherry trifle,the custard is oaky vanilla, hammers home that barley, flavours develop into an intense chocolate fudge Finish : Dry peat and oak; enough molassed sweetness to see the malt through to a satisfying end, though.
