Famously the only whisky distillery in Scotland to triple distil every drop, Auchentoshan have been placing small batches of their spirit in North American virgin oak since the start of the millennium. This has a spicy note and a great complexity.

First-fill North American oak casks are perfect for maturing Auchentoshan. Where once they held bourbon, now we trust our spirit to their care. We carefully marry these casks to create the crisp citrus nose and unmistakable smoothness of Auchentoshan American Oak.
