Tasting note

Aged in charred oak barrels to give an extra dimension of smokiness. The nose is rich and oaky with a hint of smoke and background notes of dried fruits. On the palate, a robust flavour with a punch of maple and honey followed by vanilla and caramel. The finish is slightly sweet and peppery.

Bacardi Oakheart is a smooth spiced rum straight from the heart of charred oak barrels for a golden hue, a hint of smokiness and a unique velvet-like smoothness.

The palate is creamy with flavours of maple syrup, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon, with a bit of spicy heat, orange peel, cinnamon and clove on the finish. Try making a Bacardi Oakheart & Coke: Fill a stein glass with ice cubes and pour in 1 1/2 oz (45 ml) Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum, 4 oz (120 ml) cola.
