Tasting note
Pale golden; aromas of toasted biscuits, cereal, honey, roasted nuts and a touch floral; medium body with rich flavours of butterscotch, hazelnut and chamomile; smooth long finish.
A beautiful, complex and stunning structured whisky. Deft grain, honey, teasing salty peat with gooseberry juice offer a sharp touch, muted by watered golden syrup. Hints of smoke, vanilla, and cocoa on the fade; drier with a faint spicy vaguely smoky buzz. After a change of style direction it has reverted back to its sophisticated old self.
