Tasting note
The addition of lemongrass and black pepper to the list of usual botanicals creates a whole new flavour experience. The nose is quite aromatic and filled with spicier notes, while the palate is rather soft and delicate with flavours of citrus and pepper that complement the juniper and linger on the finish.
An edition of Bombay Sapphire’s gin inspired by the flavours of the east, adding Thai Lemongrass and Vietnamese Black Peppercorns for more spice and a hint of citrus.
For a unique gin with a subtly exotic taste our Master of Botanicals journeyed east, to Asia. Bombay Sapphire East is crafted and infused with two additional botanicals, fragrant Thai Lemongrass for crispness, and a subtle bite from Vietnamese Black Peppercorns. Tantalizingly smooth in a Martini or on the rocks, this delicious gin delivers the ultimate in refreshment when served ice-cold with tonic (or club soda).

Infusing Thai lemongrass and Vietnamese black peppercorn into the original Bombay Sapphire yields a gin that reflects the spices of Asia. The nose is delicate with notes of lemongrass and herbs and a light aroma of spice. Smooth on the palate with a dominating flavour of lemongrass that evolves into a lingering black pepper spice and almond sweetness on the tongue.
