Tasting note

Opened in 1974 Centennial is one of Canada's largest independently owned distilleries. This rye is aged in charred oak Bourbon barrels which adds character and richness. Expect aromas of honey and spice on the nose; the palate is light with flavours of apple and roasted grain followed by a smooth and mellow finish.

Ultra premium Rye Whisky made unlike most whiskies, using aged wheat grain alcohol. A clean crisp rye which fairly oozes honey and spice. The spices are light, enjoyable, polished and subdued.

A true Canadian rye whisky, Centennial 10 Year Old Limited Edition uses soft winter wheat blended with rye (instead of the traditional corn) giving it a smooth, rich flavour profile. Aged for a minimum of 10 years it is enjoyable in classic rye-based cocktails, on ice or neat.
