Tasting note

Often referenced as having the most complex aromatics in Speyside this dram pours a golden amber colour and offers a sweet, peaty, caramel nose that is layered with herbal, citrus, cocoa and floral aromas; medium bodied and malty with hints of sweet wood smoke and sandalwood on a medium length finish.

Nose: Aromatic, floral. Heather, fruit salad, creamy texture. Smoked almonds, stemmy hay. Palate: Rich, honey, stone fruits, chestnuts, walnuts, almonds. Berries. Finish: Smoky, good length, delicate peppery spice.
