Tasting note
Water sourced from Glen Breton is integral to the spirit of this traditionally styled whisky with heavy Scottish influences. Pouring a bright gold colour the nose is fragrant with apricot, honey and orange blossom; the palate is rich with toasted cereal, light cherry and roasted nut flavours followed by a warm finish.
Canada's only single malt whisky. On the nose, it is medium-bodied and pleasantly fiery, offering a tight combination of butterscotch, heather, honey and ground ginger with wood-infused undertones. The palate is light to medium-bodied; creamy with toasty wood, almond, caramel and a subtle hint of charcoal and peat.
An aromatic whisky presenting a pleasing golden-yellow colour highlighted with hints of amber and orange. The nose is medium-bodied, but pleasantly fiery, offering a tight combination of butterscotch, heather, honey and ground ginger with elongated, wood-infused undertones.
The only single malt whisky produced in Canada. On the nose it is medium-bodied and pleasantly fiery, offering a tight combination of butterscotch, heather, honey and ground ginger, with wood-infused undertones. Single malt fanciers will prize the all around balance of this rich, yet smooth and subtle, dram. Voted Top 50 Spirits in the World by "Wine Enthusiast".
