Gold hay hue. The nose is an intricate range of smoke, minerals and sherry. On the palate, there is butterscotch, more sherry and peat. Smoke continues to stay with you long after the final sip. A whisky of complexity and depth, offering a very long finish. Extraordinary. Ultimate Recommendation. Score - 97. (Ultimate Spirits Challenge, 2013)

Rich amber in colour, complex, with distinctive butterscotch and shredded fruit flavours. Develops slowly with great depth and excellent balance – long last and smooth finish.
