Tasting note

Beautiful nose just rich in complexity and where maturity is the password. Rich fruit cake, orange rind, dry spice, ripe berry fruit with a hint of oak and twist of smoke. Well rounded, deep flavoured mouth follows the nose with more oak and a full wave of magnificent malt. Great texture and mellowness. Treacle, honey, golden syrup all combine to give ultra smoothness. A finely balanced nose, with substantial oakiness matched by fruit and luscious sherry notes. The taste is complex and seductively woody, emphasised by a floral sweetness. The finish is exceedingly long, honeyed and warm.
