Tasting note

As many as forty whiskies, make up this satisfyingly complex blend. The nose and flavour are a wonderful combination of dry smokiness, with rich malt and peat overtones balanced by hints of cedar and fruit with trademark dark chocolate and vanilla sweetness.

As many as 40 whiskies, each aged 12 years, make this blend. There is an impression of silky richness, then deep and fruity foreground flavours give way to drier peaty nuances, followed by the complementary flavour tones of sweet vanilla and raisins.

The blending of more than 40 whiskies contribute to the layers of flavour which come across as rich fruit, followed by peaty and smoky nuances, and finally sweet vanilla oak character.
