Tasting note

Inspired by the Walker family's tradition of crafting private blends; this pours a deep amber colour; on the nose there are nuances of grapefruit pith, lavender, wild honey and smoke. On the palate it tastes of dried orange slices, cinnamon, caramel and campfire with lingering notes of spiced vanilla.

Overall character: Rounded and multi-layered. Beginning with the sweetness of golden honey and vanilla before culminating in rich, aged oak. Nose: Full-bodied depth expressed by stewed fruit, creamy vanilla and some almonds. Palate: Intense rich flavour, very fruity, sweet with a long finish. The whisky is to be enjoyed neat

Flavor notes include rich dried fruit, malty cereal, smooth creamy vanilla, fragrant almonds and tangerines. It is an elegant, contemporary example of the Speyside style, finished with a hint of Islay smokiness.
