Tasting note

Though this lemony anise-based spirit is the heart and soul of Greece, it originated in 1880 in what is now Istanbul. History and tradition resonates from every bottle.

Clear and colourless; fresh and lemony aromas of aniseed and floral; light to medium-bodied, quite fresh, it ends with clean, lightly sweet flavours of lemon and anise.

Ouzo 12 is a pure and natural spirit, with a rich and complex aroma, and taste of Greek aromatic seeds, such as fennel, star anise, anise, cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg, produced in the same traditional way for more than 100 years.
