Copper colour; aromas of toasted cereal grain, honey, sweet toasty oak shavings, spice, notes of dried flower & citrus rind; light bodied, velvety smooth with warm rounded palate & flavours of toasted oak, vanilla custard and fruit cake, hints of caramel, citrus, charred wood and spice/pepper on the long pleasant finish (Beppi Crosariol, The Globe and Mail, March 12, 2010)
