Tasting note

The marriage of The Famous Grouse with Islay whiskies, this is smoky, but smooth and described as having a wonderfully rich and full-bodied flavour. Pouring a brilliant amber colour you will note a light intensity of hay, peat, honey, citrus, brine and iodine on the nose and creamy palate followed by a nice smoky finish.

Peaty-smoke then delicate sweetness. Golden raw sugar, traces of malt and oak. Subtle smoky-sweet tones. A silky smooth delivery with hints of cocoa and spice. Long, peaty, aromatic. Gentle smokiness, giving way to a resonant oaky note.
