Tasting note

A deep mahogany colour; an expressive nose of dried fruit, burnt sugar, tangy Sherry, oak, vanilla and chocolate; on the palate, round, full and impeccably balanced, with oak in harmony with still-vivid fruit flavours and a counterpoint of Sherry; a warm finish of extraordinary length delivers cocoa, toffee and dried fruit.

Fragrant, slightly smoky, hints of dried fruit, some milk chocolate, ripe green plums and Japanese spice are featured. An excellent and well put together whisky. The 25 is a batch-produced whisky finished in individually selected ex-sherry butts. Each cask is individually monitored in the finishing process to ensure only the subtlest sherry tones are added to this intense, silky and elegant whisky.
