Tasting note
Pleasant and engaging on the nose with aromas of pralines, honeyed graham crackers, butterscotch, dried apricot and light peat smoke. The mouthfeel is smooth and round and carries a bit of a bite - more of a smoldering fire rather than a blazing flame. It closes with a long butterscotch-and-smoke finish. A few drops of water will bring out saltwater taffy notes. A real beauty. (VINTAGES panel, March 2013)
