Tasting note
Launched in 1861 by James Catto in his home town of Aberdeen. The delicate character of this blend is a result of unpeated malted barley. It pours a pale amber colour; a grainy sweetness along with citrus and honey are found both on the nose and the very smooth, medium-weight palate.
Caorunn is a dry and crisp, aromatic taste advneture with a long dry finish. Its appearance is perfectly clear like pure Scottish water. It displays fresh, floral, citrus, slightly spicy and aromatic aromas with clean, crisp, sweet and full bodied flavours. Its finish is invigorating, long lasting, refreshing, crisp and slightly drying.
