Tasting note

Produced from venerable estate vines, the 2006 has an excellent, slightly roasted perfume with notes of wood smoke, scorched earth, espresso and blackberry. Full-bodied, fat and well-endowed, the wine has gobs of spicy, forward fruit and excellent balance on the palate.
