Tasting note
Reasonably light and delicately scented with dark red raspberry, violet, red cherry, toasty oak and wild thyme characters. A silken thread of oak and fine tannins provides complexity and structure. Altogether, a real charmer with no lack of finesse and flavour. Positively impressive. Awarded a Gold Medal. Score - 95. (Tasting panel, Decanter World Wine Awards, 2016)
Cherry-red in colour, this red boasts a medium nose exuding woody, spicy and fruity aromas. Discover this medium-bodied wine expressing refreshing acidity and offering a broad texture and smooth tannins. It also unveils a medium mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.
Aromatic with flavours of ripe red cherry, violet, spice and a touch of fresh herbs, this medium‐bodied silky wine is a food wine. Pair this universal wine with turkey, duck and even seafood.
