Tasting note

Medium to deep red violet colour; black currant, spice, oak and herbal aromas; dry, medium bodied, ripe, bold fruit driven style; well balanced acid and tannins, good length on finish.

Intense colour with bright purple hues. Dense, sweet black fruits, with rich dark chocolate and vanillin smoky oak aromas are intermixed with a herbal spiciness and classic Cabernet characters. Substantial palate weight is characterized by fine grained tannins and a bold finish. Will continue to improve over the next four to six years.

Big, showy candy bar nose of chocolate mint, cassis and tobacco. Sweet, soft and rich, with creamy texture, virtually no tannin, but considerable alcohol heat.
