Tasting note
Healthy full red. Deep aromas of blackberry, black cherry and mocha are complemented by balsamic nuances. Concentrated, sappy and savory, displaying saline nuances to the black cherry and plum flavors. Finishes with serious depth and the broad, polished tannins to support aging. This dry, medium-bodied and fruity red displays a simple and intense nose. On the palate, its light acidity, fleshy tannins, and broad texture precede a medium finish.
Cannonau is the Sardinian name for the Grenache from France's Rhône Valley. The soft spice and raspberry compote aromas make it a great match with chicken on the rotisserie.
