Tasting note
Amazing nose of concentrated cassis, blueberry, woodsmoke and vanilla. This is a ripe Napa blockbuster that is structured, balanced and marvellously integrated. The concentrated fruit core is backed by fleshy tannins. Solid, long finish. Cellar 2-4 years, or decant and savour tonight with braised beef. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2013)
