Tasting note

This is great wine with fabulous transparency and clarity showing blackberry, blueberry and floral character. Full body, ultra-fine tannins and a superb finish. 80% malbec and 20% cabernet franc. A wine that gives pleasure now but will be even better in 2020. Score - 96. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, May 20, 2016)

Impressively packaged in wood cases, the box is actually made from the inner stave boards that are used during fermenting/aging of some of the reds. The stain is therefore ‘natural’ as the colour of the grape. Led by Malbec, this red blend is aged in small barrels and will show best with a fine roast of lamb or beef… save a few for later.
