Tasting note
Cassis and nutty oak on the nose. Sweet on entry, then a bit chunky in the middle, with a brooding character to its flavors of dark fruits, mint and licorice. This is much more clenched and less perfumed than the 2006 was at the same stage. Finishes with strong, chewy tannins that will require extended aging. Score - 90(+?).
