Medium red violet colour; aromas of sweet vanilla, black cherry and plum jam; dry, medium bodied, with a soft velvety structure, a sweet fruit centre and a light spicy finish.

A satisfying Merlot that delivers layers of fruit flavors and aromas, Beringer Stone Cellars Merlot is luscious and well-balanced with ripe strawberry and red cherry flavors, a soft-mid palate and finishing with a hint of baking spice.

Rich fruit flavours are concentrated but wonderfully balanced. The majority of the grapes were aged and seasoned in oak to add nutmeg and clove flavours. Full of ripe cherry and black stone fruit on the nose, along with a hint of mint. The intense flavours of plum, blueberry and blackberry are enhanced by warm, brown spices that linger on the finish. Perfect as an aperitif or for a variety of rich dishes like pasta or stew.
