Tasting note
This is extremely fine and focused with ultra-fine tannins and a beautiful black currant and spearmint undertone. Full and fruity. Yet reserved and interesting. A triumph for the price. Drink or hold. Score - 93. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Jan. 15, 2016)
Medium-bodied and balanced with an enticing nose of black cherry, blackberry and nuances of vanilla spice. On the palate, rich dark fruits of plum, black currant, cassis and cherry combine with well integrated tannins followed by a pleasant, lingering finish.
