Tasting note

This is always an impressive wine: front-loaded with aromas of cherry and fig with a dark chocolate undertone all riding on a spicy and earthy foundation. The palate adds a sexy balsamic note into the mix along with some dried herbs. A real joy with braised leg of lamb with rosemary. (Vintages panel, Dec. 2016)

Very complex with intense aromas of vanilla, spices and herbs, this finely balanced wine has a polished and elegant body with a long and pleasant aftertaste. Drink now or cellar for a few more years.
