Tasting note
Moderate wood combines with cool red and dark currant, plum, earth and humus nuances. There is a relatively sophisticated mouth feel to the lightly mineral-infused medium weight flavors that possess excellent punch on the balanced, complex and impressively persistent and mildly austere finish. While not super dense this well-balanced effort still offers fine quality for its level though note that it is built to age and will need at least 4 to 5 years first. Outstanding. Top value. Drink: 2022+. Score - 89. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, April 15, 2016)
