Tasting note

Here is a well-made wine enhanced with dry fruit aromas and framed by straight tannins. A good wine the old fashioned way, showing restraint; not very dense, but balanced, original, and with a fairly long finish. Score - 3 1/2 Stars (out of 5). (Nadia Fournier, winealign.com, Jan. 14, 2016)

A rich wine with a deep red colour and terracotta tints. The sweet aromas of dried fruit, dominated by tomato and fig, blend with the aromas of ageing, like cinnamon, vanilla, wood and spices. A potent wine, with a body characterized by an abundance of mature tannins, a result of the long ageing process. Lasting aftertaste.

Focused, complex and earthy, despite the time in oak, this is quite elegant in the mid-palate, has a crisp, somewhat astringent finish and develops slowly but beautifully in the glass. 90 Points Wine Advocate
