Tasting note
This is showing well now, reaching a fine stage of evolution between fruit and more earthy/savoury/evolved character. The palate still offers some nice grip and a succulent range of dark fruit and spice flavours, and solid length. Decant and serve with salty protein, or cellar another half dozen years. Nice. Score - 90. (John Szabo, MS, winealign.com, Nov. 2016)
This dry and purplish red coloured red showcases a simple nose releasing empyreumatic, spicy, fruity and vegetal scents. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, fleshy tannins and a medium finish.
