Tasting note

Ripe dark plum, cassis, cedar, exotic spice, and cocoa aromas, over a touch of light smoky oak. Balanced and soft on the palate, with flavors of blackberry jam, cooked cherry, black tea, clove, mocha, and vanilla toast. Hints of licorice and black pepper on the balanced finish. A classic. “This blockbuster of a wine is certified biodynamically grown. Opaque ruby with a hint of garnet. Cassis, mocha, mineral/graphite, black licorice and woodsmoke. Dry, fruit-driven, but with good structure from velvety tannins. Big, lushly textured wine that may be cellared 2+ years.
