Tasting note

There's a nice tang to the ripe currant and guava flavors in this fresh and lively red. Drink now through 2017. Score - 88. (Harvey Steiman, winespectator.com, Oct. 15, 2015)

Bold and rich with developed aromatics of blackberry, cherry, cedar, leather and cocoa powder. The palate continues with deep blackberry jam, huckleberry and black currant. The oak structure guides the way to lingering cocoa powder on the finish. Food pairing: roasted rosemary lamb, pepper crusted steak, grilled vegetables.
