Tasting note

Ruby red with a golden rim, good depth, lively bright color. It retains the ripe red-berry fruit aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and black plums well. Gradually it opens up to reveal smoky, toasted wood nuances, with spices and hints of minerals and tobacco. This is another typical aspect of this wine which has evolved during its time in the barrel and the bottle. Smooth mouth-feel, with sweet, polished tannins. A long, elegant, perfumed finish with final hints of coffee with chocolate.
