Tasting note
Under the purplish red colour, the nose is intense and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and woody red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
This Carmenère is scandalous, and scandalously delicious. Once confused for another variety, this "lost grape of Bordeaux" has been rediscovered and adopted as Chile's signature grape. You can expect notes of plums, berries and cedar & spice. This Carmenère goes great with anything off the grill, dishes with some spice, take-out food, a dinner party, or just hanging out with friends... whichever comes first.
