Tasting note
Under the purplish red colour, the nose is medium and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and woody red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases firm tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
The Ribera del Duero is blessed by a combination of terroir, microclimate and a native grape that gives superb, complex red wines. At this altitude Tempranillo (also known as Tinta del Pais or Tinto Fino) gives thin-skinned and refreshingly acidic fruit, which in turn gives wines that are delicious when they are young but also have the capacity to age into magnificent Gran Reservas. Home to a wide range of wines, this vast vinicultural wonderland produces many treasures to taste in your wine glass. Opaque purple-coloured it offers an expressive nose of cedar, espresso, blueberry and blackberry with floral and mineral notes. Dense and packed on the palate, the wine conceals ample ripe tannins under a blanket of fruit. Serve with grilled steaks, duck or game meats.
