Tasting note
deep garnet colour; black berry, bell pepper and touch of herbs in aroma, berry fruit and touch of mocha in flavour.
This dry and purplish red coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing woody, spicy and fruity scents. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, fleshy tannins and a medium finish.
Soft and well-structured mouth filling texture. Notes of dark plums and spice, generously framed by toasty American oak.
It is the most famous variety of Casillero del Diablo. Its 2005 Vintage was awarded by Decanter as the best of the planet. It owns an intense cherry and plum bouquet, with vanilla and toast finishes. Is one of the red varieties with full wine in mouth, elegant and ideal to match beef in pepper sauce.
From the Rapel Valley. This deep purple wine has a bright appearance, with pleasant aromas of plum, blackcurrant, dark chocolate and hints of coffee. The wine has notes of dark plum and spice, generously framed by toasty American oak with a soft and well structured mouthfeel. Pairs well with pasta, aged cheese, lamb, grilled chicken and risotto.
