Tasting note
This is round, with black cherry and blackberry flavors augmented by mineral and tobacco notes. A smoky element emerges as this cruises to a long, spice- and mineral-filled aftertaste. Delivers serious tannins that need time to integrate. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Best from 2018 through 2030. Score - 93. (Bruce Sanderson, winespectator.com, Oct. 31, 2015)
This dry garnet coloured wine features intense animal, empyreumatic, spicy, fruity and vegetal scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.
Fruit-rich nose laden with sweet dark cherry and raspberry, followed by fragrant impressions of Avola almond and mint, and with a tasty edge of sea-salt; elegantly threaded into this aromatic complex are notes of truffles, black liquorice, and ginger, crowned with darker nuances of chocolate and tar. The mouth boasts an ultra -dense mouthfeel and velvety texture, with a majestic suite of tannins that receive superb support from a full-bodied, spacious structure.
