A purple, almost black colour, typical of high concentration. The initial nose has notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and an attractive mix of spice and black fruits (blackberries and stewed plums). A firm mouthfeel, with the qualities needed to develop favourably: creamy, complex, dense and elegant structure. A fine array of aromas: liquorice, blackberries, and a peppery tang on the finish.
